What are the commonly experienced post intake experiences from Salvia Divinorum?

A lighter spirit and peacefulness are very common

At times, the opposite is also felt

I've used Salvia on many occasions and in many forms(Quids, smoking,drink) and have never experienced anything that I've heard others claim to experience. For me, it was calming, but at the same time slightly manic. The feeling only lasts about 45 seconds. Some people claim to have these wild visions and experiences, but I'm skeptical due to the fact that I've been around many others that have used Salvia and have never had any form of visions.
