Hi i got a phase 11 and iv been using 1540 car care oil,its seems ok but im not sure weather to try grade 20, my oil pressure does not go over 50% and when warm is down to 20 to 30%
if i go over to grade 20 is there a good oil on the market iv seen the classic oil in halfords but im not sure is it good quality

I have the same engine in a Triumph Roadster, I have always used non-synthetic and the cheapest 20-50, for the last 43 years. Oil pressure is good, on a 1963 engine having done approx 100,000 miles. Go to www.keskom.co.uk follow Triumph Roadster and scroll for topics, ie. fitting an oil cooler.
