When I buy a Char Siu Pork ricebox in Hong Kong they also put a thin, dark brown sauce on the rice. What is this?
It's not soy sauce, but may have soy sauce/oyster sauce/hoi sin etc in it, not sure. It may even just be the same sauce as the marinade. If anyone has a recipe, please let me know!
