My RGS, Eddie, has been my close buddy for almost a year now, to the point of him grooming me, comes when I call him, loves on me, etc. We WERE buds!! Then, last week he got mean, I mean "MEAN". He would charge at me, chatter his teeth at me, then, He actually leaped Up and bit me on the inside of my arm as I reached over his cage and latched onto me to the point where I had to grab him with my other hand and pull him off my arm. And yes, he did break skin and left a bad blood bruise as well. Why all of a sudden did he attack me? Nothing changed in his diet, cage or handling? I play with him daily and have an exercise ball I let him run in plus I let him run loose in our computer room for maybe an hour or so. He even plays with our tiny chihuahua. But now I am afraid to let him loose for fear he won't come back to me or maybe even hurt the dog. What can I do to change this behavior or will it just change with the season? PS- he has been neutered during his last mating season thingy while his testicles were black & really decended.Please help, I love him, Nancymc
