The start of WWII is usually considered September 3, 1939 when Germany invaded Poland followed by a declaration of war on Germany by Poland's allies England and France two days later. Two weeks later Russia invaded the other end of Poland to keep Germany in check and also by a secret agreement with Germany to divide Poland between them.
Japan was the first of the aggressive nations to go to war when it invaded China in July 25, 1937. But that was considered an isolated affair as the rest of the world was not too concerned with a local squabble between two asiatic countries.
The war in Europe was over May 8, 1945 and Japan surrendered August 15, 1945.
Some consider the war having started with Japan in China in 1937 giving WWII an 8-year 2-months duration. Whereas, others consider September 1939 to August 1945 a 6-year war. The United States was involved from December 7, 1941 until August 1945 for a period of 3-years 9-months.

By typing in your question as you did, is in my mind a "posting." Please, explain more your problem. If you need to translate your Italian into English then do a web search for "translate" or "translator." Some will allow you to type a phrase or more in Italian and displays it in English. Highlight the English with your mouse, copy it, and then paste it on this site.

I checked my references and failed to locate the word 'retarted'. Perhaps, you meant 'retard' which means to delay or hold back progress, development, or accomplishment. It also can be applied to derogatively refer to a mentally handicapped person.
So, if 'retarded' is your word of choice, then are you saying World War II was delayed? Or it was mentally handicapped? You may have something here. Total war is man's greatest insanity.
As far as un-needed, please list those wars that are needed. The Japanese and Nazis thought they 'needed' resources held outside their borders in order to grow in power and influence. Yes, you are correct that no country 'needs' war in order to survive. But, what is one to do when you have a rouge country which believes that it does have the right to violently take what they want. Turn the other cheek?
Germany overruns Poland in three weeks. Should England and Franc, Poland's ally, turn the other cheek and forsake a friend? Germany, without provocation invades Russia and 20 million Russians die. Should the Russians have turned the other cheek? Japan without a declaration of war attacks the U.S. Naval base at Pearl Harbor killing nearly 3,000 Americans. Other cheek? Ten million starved and were killed in German death camps. For those who find this horrific, should they not respond? War was neither sought or desired by the Allies. It was forced upon them. What's your council as to an alternative response?

Sorry, I spelled that wrong. But world war two was seriously unneeded war. Lots more people would've been alive now if the war hadn't happened

Right, I'll grant you that WWII was un-needed as with all wars. But, consider the un-avoidable. Please, tell me what other response one may take when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and declares war on us along with its ally Germany? What other response should one take when the World Trade Towers are brought down? Someone comes into your home with violence what is one to do besides responding in kind?
