You know its hard enough to teach our children now a days,for better or for worse.What ever happened to the teacher who cared,and took the time to teach a child the fundamentals it takes to live,and learn in this world today.I have a fifteen year old Son,who is A.D.H.D,and bipolar,but also has and I.Q of 175.So can you explain to me why hes in the stars unit{which is also headed and funded by Sutton place)it is for uncontrollable,and slow kids who have no privliages like normal school children.I feel the school system is failing my son,and discriminating against him because hes smarter than they are they keep saying they do not know how to teach him.So now my child gets to suffer,because of the failings of the staff of this school.They have openly stated that 75 percent of the Teachers, and staff there, do not like him.His Psychiatrist,at Sutton place Flat out told him at the last meeting she could not do nothing for him then dropped him.So as a concerned Parent,and Citizen,and voice for countless other Parents.Something needs to be done about it,We can do with out glorified babysitters, are you paying for your child to eat peanut-butter and jelly sandwhiches,because thats what my child is being forced to eat if hes lucky,every other kid is getting to eat what they want,I am tired of the crap it needs to change because its our children who are suffering here.
