1) The constellation Virgo is east of and adjacent to Leo.
2) Virgo is a Spring season constellation
3) Virgo is well-known by astronomers for the many galaxies that can be seen in the Virgo constellation. In fact, it is called the Virgo Cluster of galaxies.
4) The brightest star in Virgo is Spica, which can be located in the sky by following the arc, or bend, in the handle of the Big Dipper. First you "arc to Arcturus" (the brightest star in Boötes), and then "speed to Spica", or as I prefer, you "spike to Spica".
