To anybody else who may be wondering the anwser to this question I found that the reasoning for this is becasue when the factories pollute the air or dump toxic waste in our lakes and rivers it decreses the soulibility in oxygen levels, which causes thermal pollution because of the fact of water changes it harms the fish and other organisms/ecosystems.
