The 2011 Fórmula Truck season will be the 16th Fórmula Truck
season., the South American championship will begin on February 27 at Santa Cruz
, while Brazilian Championship on April 3 in Rio de Janeiro
, after ten rounds.
Felipe Giaffone
won the title of the South American championship in Buenos Aires, after winning the first two races in Santa Cruz
and Interlagos
, in Argentina only to finish the race in tenth place. The driver, however, was only enjoyed by Danilo Dirani
have achieved third place at the finish. The winner was Geraldo Piquet. Giaffone
finished with 62 points against 55 by Dirani
, Piquet found the best way to reach the third position in the championship with 42 points. Volkswagen won the Manufacturers' Championship by 71 points ahead of Mercedes-Benz, and 85 points ahead of Ford.
