and A. Lakshmanaswami Mudaliar
. Located in the heart of Cuddalore, it has a 7.5 acres (3 ha) campus.
A private charitable educational Trust, founded in 1973 by Sir A. Ramaswami Mudaliar, came forward to assist the ARMES in this noble venture.The Arm Trust received generous donationsfrom the members of the family of Arcot twins, Sir A. Lakshmanaswami Mudaliar and Sir A. Ramaswami Mudaliar and formed the nucleus for starting the A.R.L.M. Primary school in June 1981. Damodara mudaliar is the correspondent.The Primary school was upgraded into a High School in 1983 and recognition was obtained from the Department of Education, Government of Tamilnadu. The maiden batch was sent for the Matriculation Examination in 1986. The school was further upgraded into Matriculation Higher Secondary School in 1988. The first batch of Higher Secondary students appeared for the Public Examination in 1988. The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 2006-2007. Constant steps and measures have always been taken in improving the infrastructure of the school and all other facilities and amenities keeping in mind the prime need of the welfare of the children. Within a short span of years this institution of repute has seen tremendous growth.This school has been producing eminent laurels and engineers who shine at many places in the world.

Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Ball Badminton,Tennikoit, Hockey and Throwball are provided.

Inter-house competitions in all games and athletics are conducted. To facilitate Inter-house Sport activities, students are divided under four houses as furnished below.
