André Gabias is a Quebec

and is currently a member of the Quebec National Assembly. He represents the electoral district of Trois-Rivières
and is a member of the Quebec Liberal Party (QLP).
He was first elected in the 2003 election
, and originally served as the Parliamentary Assistant
to the Minister of Public Security. In the spring of 2005, he was appointed as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade.
Gabias is preceded in his political career by his father, past Trois-Rivières MLA and Union Nationale
