Arcade's Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 1 is a collection of Atari
arcade games for the Sega Saturn
, Sony PlayStation, and Super Nintendo Entertainment System
. Most of these games fall into the action game category. It was released for an older audience of gamers who preferred the classic 1980s games over the then-current 32-bit and 64-bit graphics of the mid to late 1990s.
The Saturn and PlayStation versions of the game include an FMV documentary on the "Golden Age of Atari", featuring video interviews with the programmers behind the six games in the compilation.
All six of the games were later included in the Atari Anthology
