History

The band was created in the mid 90s when Alban Nimani (vocal) and Bujar Honduzi (guitar) met and decided to work together. The duo made a lot of rehearsals and gigs in Pristina

 before they met their bass player Visar Qeska. Asgjë Sikur Dielli was formed in 1996 after series of gigs in Kosovo. ASD (Asgjë Sikur Dielli) played with a lot of drummers until they decided to hire Fatos Berisha as a member of the band. The band managed to record their first album just before the Kosovo War

Kosovo War

The term Kosovo War or Kosovo conflict was two sequential, and at times parallel, armed conflicts in Kosovo province, then part of FR Yugoslav Republic of Serbia; from early 1998 to 1999, there was an armed conflict initiated by the ethnic Albanian "Kosovo Liberation Army" , who sought independence...

 started in 1998. The album was called "1". The band members were forced to leave Kosovo until the war ended. After the war the band was playing in the gigs and different festivals where they won different awards, but did not publish any album until summer of 2005 when they published "Ndodhemi" album.

On 1 February 2010, the band announced that Alban Nimani has decided to leave the group, to continue with a solo career. Kushtrim Hoxha joined the band as leading vocalist.

1 (1999)

"1" is the bends debut album produced by Enis Presheva and was recorded at the "Unique Sound" in Pristina. Album was recorded on 1998 just before the Kosovo War but it was published on 1999 after the war ended. Album featured many original songs as well as Gjurmet cover of the song "Mendoja çdo gjë merr fund pa ty" which was a huge success on many radio stations. The video clip for the same song was hitting top charts on main TV stations in Kosovo RTK

Ndodhemi (2005)

"Nodhemi" is multimedial album published in summer of 2005. It features 11 songs and CD has the videoclip of the song: "Ku ka më mirë se me qenë shqiptar (kush m'ka faj që jam shqiptar)", four projections, photo gallery and lyrics. This albums shows that the band has changed a style a bit. The songs "Ku ka më mirë se me qenë shqiptar (kush m'ka faj që jam shqiptar)" "Koma", "Eho" represent the new style and features some of the electronic sounds and ambiance.
