lodged a protest to CONCACAF, which declared the Mexican club champions, but after a counter-protest by Racing Club Haïtien
, CONCACAF ordered on April 2 that the matches to be rescheduled of the matches within 2 months. Since Guadalajara were touring Europe at that time and were unable to travel home for the final, the final was scratched and Racing Club Haïtien were declared champions.
