Material

The BBC had stated on their Doctor Who website that they were planning a release of a second soundtrack after the end of Series 4 (2008), but since they were inundated with requests for an earlier release, they were "contemplating one". This release would appear to be the one referenced. Therefore, this volume features only one series' worth of material rather than two, as the previous release contained.

The title of Track 1, "All the Strange, Strange Creatures" is a quote from "Love Don't Roam", a song composed for the 2006 Christmas special "The Runaway Bride

Portions of the remainder of "All the Strange, Strange Creatures" have been heard in episodes from "Gridlock" onwards, most notably "42
