Dr. Stellar first appeared on the fictitious cover of Red Hot Comics #14 as a back-up feature to The Badge. When the Caliber Press series ended, the Big Bang creators received a large portion of fan-mail asking to see Dr. Stellar in action.Dr. Stellar did far better than Vita-Man
