Duces 'N Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way
Encyclopedia
Duces 'n Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way is the second studio album
by American rap group Tha Eastsidaz
, released on July 30, 2001. The album features the single "I Luv It" and includes the song "Crip Hop" which was also featured in the film, Baby Boy
and the corresponding soundtrack
.
The album had peaked the Billboard 200
at 4th place after a solid sales of 116,000 CDs delivered and stayed on the chart for nine consecutive weeks. It peaked at number 15 the previous week on the Canada Top 50 Albums Chart for 4 weeks in a row. It was certificated Gold on March 11, 2002. It is more than likely the last Eastsidaz release by Snoop because the group has split irrevocably since Tray Deee
was condemned to a 12-year sentence in prison (although Snoop quit before, and the two members left were planning to release their own Eastsidaz album entitled Statues & Limitations, the project was never finished).
