With this team on his side, Emilin succeeded to win the Spanish Championship twice. Having the bad luck to be contemporary with one of the best forwards ever, Guillermo Gorostiza, he was selected to play for the Spanish national football team in two occasions. The first match at the national side was held in Madrid

At the age of 21 he was already known as one of the best forwards of the Spanish football. When he came to Real Madrid he had the luck to be contemporary with players like Zamora, Ciriaco, Quincoces, the Regueiros, Lazcano, Lecue, Sañudo, Leoncito, Esparza, who formed one of the best teams ever in the Real Madrid history and Spanish football as well.With this team on his side, Emilin succeeded to win the Spanish Championship twice.
