FF.C were a Greek Hip-Hop band founded in 1987.
and they managed to get a record deal with the label in which they released 4 albums: S'alli diastasi[(1997) Thodoris Sartetzakis left the group after its release] I Apeilh(1998), Oxurwmenh Antilipsi(2000) and Yp' Opsin(2002). After their track 'Paramythi' suffered censorship issues from their label and they didn't let the track to be featured on Yp'Opsin they left the label after its release and they decided to release their material independently leading to Hxotron Productions which they released their 2 final albums. Klassika Ixografimena(2004) and Antilipsies Suneidhshs(2005). After that, the group disbanded due to Kostas Kourmentalas retirement from the music scene.
History
Everything begun in 1986 when Dimitris Petsoukis owned a synthesizer and was experimenting with it. In 1987 he meets Kostas Kourmentalas via breakdancing and sharing their love of hip-hop they formed FFC with DJ Mix Mad. Influenced by the American Hip-Hop that time FFC was initialy standing for Funky Fresh Concept, adopted the stage names of High Cool(Petsoukis) and Fresh Cool G(Kourmentalas) and they were majorly rapping in English. Some time after the group is joined by Thodoris Maggos(Free Jah Present) and Thomas Putikakis(DJ Everlast). They were renting Horizon Studio to be recording their materials and in 1993 they release their debut independently with their own funds because Greek industry didn't recognize hip hop sound and existence then, named Sklhroi Kairoi which was pressed on 500 vinyl copies. This was FFC(renamed to Fight Fashion Captivity that time) only album where Dimitris Petsoukis was featured rapping as he left the rhyming part to Kostas Kourmentalas afterwards. Thodoris Maggos and DJ Mix Mad left the group after its release and they are joined by Thodoris Sartetzakis(Sparky-T). Continuing recording FFC realising hip-hop is something someone to be able to understand they dropped their American influenced concept and started rapping only in Greek, Petsoukis and Kourmentalas renamed their stage names to Skinothetis & Rythodamastis respectively and the group was finally renamed to FortiFied Concept. After hip-hop's recognition from the industry thanks to Imiskoubria major-labels started approaching hip-hop artists.
