Career:

Baecker passed through numerous youth teams in Borussia Mönchengladbach and most recently brought himself to the notice of the A-Youth, where he scored 42 goals in 48 games in the Under-19-Bundesliga. In parallel he played in Borussias Under-23-Team in the regional league, where he achieved 2 goals in 13 games.
In the season 2009/10 he signed a contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Already in his second friendly game against SV Wacker Gotha, he succeeded in scoring a hattrick only eight minutes into the game.
On the 16th January 2010 Baecker scored his first goal against Vfl Bochum.
At the end of March 2011 Baecker became associated with the Alemannia Aachen, from there his previous contract in Mönchengladbach from thesommer of 2011 began to phase out. In April 2011 Fabian Baecker, signed up for a two year long contract.

National career:
Baecker joined the Youthteam of DFB and these days plays for the under-19-national team, where he has played 11 times for the under nineteens and scored three goals.
