Fajã de Cima is a parish in the district of Ponta Delgada
in the Azores
. Fajã de Cima is located in the central Picos region of the island of São Miguel, with a population of 3634 (2001) and area of approximately 11.89 km² (its density was 305.6 persons per km²). Fajã de Cima is connected with a road linking to communities in the northern coast, and to the principal center (Ponta Delgada), but although its primary source of income comes from agricultural production, it is becoming a "bedroom community" of the much larger urban center to the south.
