Due to the success of the Cycles predecessor Top Model 2005
the show was extended from a weekly shown schedule to daily episodes. Slovak

Adriana Karambeu took over as the host of the show leading a panel of judges which consisted of Dutch
model and journalist Rosalie Afflelou, model scout and agency head Brice Compagnon and fashion designer Benjamin Galopin. From over 3.000 applicants, twelve finalists were selected to move to the model loft located in Paris
here they were trained in runway lessons and did one or more photoshoot each week. Every week the best performing contestant each week was crowned Model of the Week while the bottom three contestants had to go through an additional photoshoot after which one or two of the weakest performing contestants were eliminated from the competition.
During the show the girls attended castings for the on-going Fashion Weeks in Milan
and London
. Ultimately, 17-year-old Karen Pillet from Maintenon
was crowned Top Model 2007. She collected her prizes, which included a contract with Model Management Paris. She has gained decent success in the international modeling industry since the show aired.
