Germán Bernácer Prize

The Germán Bernácer Prize has been awarded annually since 2001 to recognize economic research by European economists under 40. The prize is named for Germán Bernácer, an early Spanish macroeconomist.

The prize is awarded by the Observatorio del Banco Central Europeo http://www.obce.es ('Observatory of the European Central Bank'), an independent Spanish economic think tank. Current members of the prize committee are ECB
