Goal! II carries on from Goal! where he is transferred to Real Madrid from Newcastle. He has a good start for Real Madrid but then life starts to get complicated when his half-brother learns that he is related to Santiago and shows him a picture of his mother. His mother left his dad years ago and now lives in Spain. When his brother tells him this Santiago drives off. His life then goes downhill. When he makes his first start for Real Madrid he gets a red card. Santiago Muñez's brother drives off in his Lamborghini
after he has an argument with Santiago and badly injures himself. Real Madrid get to the final of the UEFA Champions League
and play Arsenal
. They make a bad start to the game and go 1-0 down at half-time
. Despite being brought on during half-time, Santiago cannot stop Arsenal from going 2-0 up. However, after a while, Santiago finally linked up with Gavin Harris who scores to make it 2-1. In the last few minutes of the game, Madrid need a goal to stay in the game. Santiago gets a goal and makes it 2-2. With seconds left Beckham scores in a freekick to win the champions league for Real Madrid.
