Kül-Bahār Sultan (died approximately in 1510, Trabzon), was the wife of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II
and the mother of Selim I
. Little is known of her family background, apart from the fact that an Ottoman inscription (vakfiye) describes her as Khātun binti Abd-us-Samed ( Daughter of Abd-us-Samed ), which implied that her father had possibly converted to Islam (Abd-us-Samed, meaning Servant of God, was the anonym that was used to describe the male citizens who converted to Islam in the classical Ottoman period), and thus there exists a probability that she might be an ethnic Greek
from a village near Trabzon
. However, she was not Valide Sultan
to her son because she died before Sultan Selim I
's accession to the throne.

and the daughter of Alaüddevle Bozkurt Bey, the eleventh ruler of the Dulkadirids centered around Elbistan
in Kahramanmaraş
. Thus, she was a Valide Sultan
for approximately two years as the stepmother of Selim I
and the widow of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II
