Despite no music video being created the single peaked at #12 in the UK for a total of nine weeks. The song was performed on UK music show Top of The Pops.

The B-side for the single "I Can't Begin to Stop" was exclusive to the single.

The single was written by Feargal Sharkey and Dennis Morgan.

Both the 12" single and CD single contains Sharkey's 1985 hit "Loving You". The 12" single contains Sharkey's biggest hit "A Good Heart
