Iyo'wujwa Chorote

Iyo'wujwa is a Mataco language spoken by about 2,000 people, mostly in Argentina where it is spoken by about 1,500 people; 50% of whom are monolingual.

Alternate names include: Choroti, Manjuy, and Manjui.

There are about 500 speakers in Paraguay and 8 in Bolivia. The speakers of this language in Paraguay only refer to themselves as Manjui or Inkijwas. They refer to those residing in Argentina as the Iyo'wujwas.
