After graduation, he was a law clerk to Judge Jarry Kalodner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit
from 1957 to 1958. From 1958 to 1988 he worked in private practice in Philadelphia.

appointed DuBois to the District Court. He assumed senior status
on April 15, 2002.
He is currently the active judge in the case Robbins v. Lower Merion School District.
