Jean Paré, CM
(born December 7, 1927) is a Canadian caterer, author of the Company's Coming
cookbook series, and founder of Company’s Coming Publishing Limited. She is one of the top selling cookbook authors in the world, selling 23 million copies as of 2006. She had written over 200 cookbooks before her retirement in 2011. She now resides in Edmonton

Paré is the principle shareholder in COMAC Food Group. The company owns Company's Coming Kiosks, Pastels Deli's, and the Canadian rights to the Domino's Pizza
franchise.
Paré went onto write over 200 cookbooks before her retirement in 2011. Each of her cookbooks is about a single subject.
Several Company's Coming books feature a joke at the bottom of every few pages, although these jokes are usually regarded as corny and are not considered to be funny (by Carter).
Her daughter, Gail Lovig, is responsible for marketing and distribution of the cookbooks.
$18 million dollars of retail sales annually.

Company's Coming cookbooks
Prior to publishing cookbooks, Paré was a well known caterer. She did not begin her writing career until the age of 54. In 1981, Paré self-published her first cookbook. 15,000 copies of 150 Delicious Squares were produced, and sold in specially designed racks at gas stations, grocery stores and at local fairs.
