The Crest Girls' Academy, formerly known as John Kelly Girls' Technology College is a college in Neasden, Brent, North West London.
Recently, the principal made the decision to work in partnership with E-ACT (Edutrust Academies Charitable Trust) to become an academy. The Academy is independent of the Local Authority, but publicly funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and monitored by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted). The academy is currently rated as "Adequate", whereas in its previous guise as a Technology College it was "A good school with outstanding features".
After one year of operation as an Academy with the existing staff, Mrs. Bell and E-ACT took the decision to impose changes to the staffing structure resulting in many threatened redundancies. Many staff were unhappy and took the decision to leave voluntarily, often without new jobs to go to.

The Crest Girls' Academy, formerly known as John Kelly Girls' Technology College is a college in North West London. It is a Specialist High School and was one of the first to gain a specialism in the specialist Schools Movement. Crest Girls' now has three specialisms, Technology (1998) Languages (2004) and Training Schools (2006). We have over 72 languages and have a wonderful community of students. The academy is non-denominational. The Principal is Mrs Bev Bell.
