Joël A. Robichaud is a French-Canadian film director, researcher, script-writer and producer from the east coast of Canada. He began his studies in Moncton, New Brunswick before continuing his training in Toronto and later in Quebec..
In 1999 Robichaud won 'Best Super 8 Competition' at the 'FICFA' awards, which celebrates excellence in French Canadian Cinema and would later go on to get a further nomination for Best Film at the 'FICFA' awards 2010 for his documentary film Du Stir En Acadie.

To date, Robichaud has worked on more than 17 television series and films for TVOntario
