The municipality covers an area of 7.73 square kilometres (3 sq mi), and has a population of 664 (as of 31 December 2008).
Kamenný Újezd stretches along the Klabava River (alternative name: Padrťský potok) approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Rokycany

The village specialized in sheep farming. 19th and 20th century brought population increase and gradual transformation of Kamenný Újezd into semi-urban community influenced by proximity of industrial town of Rokycany.
