Kevin Brian Harrington was an American
politician
who served as President of the Massachusetts State Senate.
Harrington attended St. Louis University on a basketball scholarship. He taught government and history and coached basketball at Merrimack College
. He was a member of the Salem City Council in 1957-1959. He was elected to the State Senate in 1958. He became Senate President in 1971. He retried from the Senate in 1978 amid an investigation into a $2,000 illegal campaign check he allegedly cashed in 1970.
