History

The school was first opened as Park Barn School in the late 1950s and has faced many challenges being renamed King's Manor in 1991. The year 2000 saw the school re-open as King's College, and an almost entirely new staff were hired with the school refurbished. Kings College will from September 2009 will be offering A Levels in its sixth form
