river. The 1.74 square kilometres (430 acre) village has a population (2009) of 3,063. The population density

Even though agriculture
has traditionally been the main industry for Klæbu, the municipality now functions more as a bedroom community of Trondheim, where many of Klæbu's inhabitants work or attend school.
