Lisa Nordén

Lisa Nordén is a professional Swedish triathlete, 2008 Olympian, Swedish Champion of the year 2008, the U23 World Champion of the year 2007, the Sprint World Champion of the year 2010, vice World Champion (World Championship Series) of the year 2009, bronze medalist of the World Championship Series of the years 2008 and 2010, and bronze medalist at the European Championships 2010.
Lisa Nordén also takes part in non ITU events, e.g. in the German First Bundesliga. In 2010, she won three gold medals at Gladbeck, Witten and Schliersee (German open Championships). She has represented Stadtwerke Team Witten.
In Sweden, Nordén lives in Höör
, and represents KRISTIANSTADS TRIATHLONKLUBB, the club of her birthplace where Lisa Nordén's father and her half-sister still live. Her training basis, however, is in Canberra
, Australia. Her coach is Darren Smith.
Nordén's most successful year was 2009 with five World Championship Series medals.
In 2010, Nordén had two World Championship Series podiums, in 2011 she is number 18 in the World Championship Ranking (August 2011).
