The episodes of the Japanese anime series InuYasha Kanketsu-Hen (The Final Act) are based on the last 21 volumes of the manga series of the same title by Rumiko Takahashi. Viz Media
licenced the series as InuYasha: Final Act. It was released in Animax Asia
and Animax India. Kira Tozer replaced Moneca Stori
as Kagome Higurashi while Michael Daingerfield voiced Sesshomaru in the place of David Kaye

on October 3, 2009 where it ran for 26 episodes until its conclusion on March 29, 2010. It picked up where the first adaptation left off, following the half-demon InuYasha, the junior high school student Kagome Higurashi and their companions Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Kirara as they search for the final fragments of the shattered Shikon Jewel and approach their final battle with Naraku. The original staff and cast from the first InuYasha
anime adaptation were brought back together for the new series.

and guests that he would be going back to the Ocean Group studio for his final recording session of InuYasha: The Final Act on December 23, 2010. Viz Media
announced at the New York Comic Con that it will release InuYasha: The Final Act on DVD
and Blu-ray in 2012, including the English Dub.
Four pieces of theme music were used, one opening and three endings. "Kimi ga Inai Mirai

was the opening theme song for the series, lasting from the first episode onwards. "With You" by AAA
was the first ending from episode one to nine. The second ending was "Diamond" by Alan
from episode ten to seventeen. The third and final ending theme was by Ai Takekawa from episode eighteen to twenty six. For the series finale, the end credits feature highlights from the series.
