On 3 August 2010, Hearts announced he had signed a two year with the club after his contract at FBK Kaunas
was terminated. He went on to establish himself firmly as hearts number one goalkeeper in season 2010–11. Hearts manager Jim Jefferies
has described him as a top Keeper who makes world class saves. Kello was awarded the SPL Player of the Month award for February 2011, along with winning the SPL Save of the Season award for a stop against Rangers' Steven Davies in the 2010/2011 season.
