Flaskay finished third in the 100 yd breaststroke in a USC record (53.23), and swam the breaststroke legs on the Trojans' seventh-place 200 yd medley relay – which set a school record in 1:27.54 – and sixth-place 400 yd medley relay. He also raced on Troy's 15th-place 200 yd and 400 yd free relays. Flaskay became only USC's second freshman since David Wharton
