Local legend has it that hundreds of years ago, an unfortunate nun

Supposedly, years later, farm labourers uncovered the well and her phantom appeared before them. The well has since become overgrown by a tree, although a chasm is still visible between its roots. The tale bears a striking resemblance to the story Sleepy Hollow
