player. Since retiring as a player he has become a regular member
of the Hockey Night In Canada
broadcast team.

Stock debuted on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada
in 2007 as a panel member for The Hot Stove segment hosted by Ron MacLean
, which appears between the second and third periods of the early (7PM Eastern) game. For the 2008–09 season, he was reassigned to handle the scores and highlights during the intermissions of the doubleheader telecasts.
On December 18, 2009, Stock hosted "The Intermission with Tony Marinaro and The Stock Exchange" for the final time. He has decided to take it easy for a while and hang out with his family more often. He will still be on Hockey Night In Canada and occasionally on RDS's program called L'Antichambre.
On February 3, 2010, Stock joined the morning show team of Chantal Desjardins
and Pete Marier on CHOM-FM
in Montreal
. He brought a comedic element to the show by attempting to interview his family's hamster, Richard Gere. Stock left the station a year later.
Stock is known for his love of cheap neckties. On the CBC Sports Online post-game show, he revealed he bought 25 neckties from a local gift shop for a total of $150.
