where he maintained a 3.87 GPA. Smith later dropped out, with his parents blessing, and decided to pursue music in Atlanta. He formed a group with his brothers called Melange and began making themselves known in and around Atlanta. He began writing songs to impress a girl he met named Erika Nuri, because she herself was a songwriter (Pink, Fantasia, Xscape, Babyface). When his manager heard one of those songs, he asked Smith to write more. He is now part of the production group "The Clutch
". Smith has a son (Channing) and recently had a daughter (Riley) with his wife Vivian.
