. These certificate programs take students a minimum of six semesters (or about two to three years). There is no minimum number of courses that a student must take per semester. Over 75 different courses are available to students.

Campus

The School is located in Pittsburgh, not far from Carnegie Mellon University. Classes are offered in a complex which also houses the Pittsburgh Filmmakers organization's administrative offices and Melwood Screening Room.

The Pittsburgh Filmmakers Library is also available for student use. It features a collection of books, DVDs, stock footage, music, and a wide variety of other material for the use of visual artists.

There is not any campus housing available to full-time students at the School.
