 that desired to have a great afternoon of alcoholic beverages and friendships without the conjestion of the "commercial and traditional" St. Patrick's Day. Polish St. Patrick's Day became a household holiday, and was even well-known in Hollywood. Famous Polish Americans like comedians Jack Benny

 celebrated this great holiday. That was, however, until the early 1920s when prohibition all but eliminated it from people's memory as a holiday. Over the years, many had tried to revive the holiday (see Sir Thomas Sampieri IV & Duke Melvin Correia I), but their efforts went for naught.

 and horror movie fan Matthew Oberkrieser, and also the great-great-great-grand-nephew of Baron Von Matthieu de Correia was looking for a way to gather as many of his friends as possible for a day of celebration. After doing some extensive family research as well as research of many local taverns, he decided it was time to revive Polish St. Patrick's Day. Mr. Oberkrieser would not rest until everyone knew about this great holiday and all that it had to offer. Since that time, Polish St. Patrick's Day has grown each year with more and more people attending the annual event. The goal of Mr. Oberkrieser has been to blend friendship, alcohol, good food, and an undying love for the Leprechaun (franchise)

Today, led by the intrepid Oberkrieser, along with relatives of Sir Thomas Sampieri IV, and Duke Melvin Correia I., there is a new movement among these friends and relative that have celebrated this great holiday to spread the word, with a common goal that would make Polish St. Patrick's Day the "holiday of the future" in New England
