Røros landsogn is a former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag
county, Norway
. The municipality encompassed the southern part of the present-day municipality of Røros
, excluding the mining town of Røros bergstad, stretching all the way south to Femunden and the Swedish
border.
was established as a separate municipality called Røros landsogn in 1926 when the large municipality of Røros was split into four separate municipalities: Brekken

, Røros bergstad, and Røros landsogn. Initially, Røros landsogn had a population of 701. On 1 January 1964, the four municipalities were reunited under the name Røros. Before the merger Røros landsogn had a population of 482.
