Sant'Yago Knight Parade

The Sant' Yago Knight Parade, is one of a series of events in the Gasparilla Festival held annually in Tampa, Florida. To recognize the community commitment and financial responsibility of the Krewe of the Knights of Sant´Yago in producing the parade, it is to be referred to as the “Sant´Yago Illuminated Knight Parade” and NOT as the Gasparilla Night Parade.

. The event features illuminated floats and takes place annually one Saturday evening in February and runs into the early morning hours. The event was founded in 1972 by The Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago which has hosted the event each year since and in 2008 the event will celebrate its 38th anniversary. It typically takes place a few weeks after the similar Gasparilla Pirate Festival
