In 2010, Galvan Rey joined América de Cali. He started the season only 5 goals away from becoming the all time scorer in Colombian League history. On April 25, he became the best scorer in the Colombian League due to the fact he overcame Ivan Rene Valenciano as the all time scorer. It is safe to say that by the end of this season he will stand alone as the all time scorer in Colombian League history. Galvan Rey has a good chance of standing alone at the top of the of the all time goal scorer list for a very long time. Néstor Salazar with 134 goals is the player closest to Galvan Rey's record. Néstor Salazar is 36 years old and is unlikely to even come close to breaking the all time goal scorer record. Furthermore most Colombian players who are good goal scorers end up transferring to other leagues. The last three season leading goal scorers play in other leagues. Jackson Martinez
