One of the inclusions of promotional preparation is Sherina’s name in the title. The original title of this film was 'The Adventures of Vera and Elmo'. They replaced the title because of the popularity of a young artist named Sherina Munaf, who was being heightened at the moment because of her album.
In her new environment, she can quickly adapt and acquire some new friends. But unfortunately, she becomes the target ignorance of the 'bandit class', a boy named Sadam and his other two friends. They often bother children who are weaker. Sherina cannot accept such treatment and she garners more friends against Sadam.
In a short vacation, Sherina has a chance to get to know Sadam closer. They both are involved in an adventure which tests their ingenuity, their courage and fortitude, and ability to work together to face the real bandit gang, which is the messenger of a cunning businessman named Kertarajasa. Kertarajasa wants to conquer the plantations where Sherina's father is working, to be his real-estate projects.

Synopsis
Sherina is a little girl who is smart, energetic, and loves to sing. She lives in Jakarta with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darmawan. But Sherina has to leave her friends, when her father is accepted to work in a plantation in Lembang.In her new environment, she can quickly adapt and acquire some new friends.
