Snö Mountain , is a ski resort

. Among the largest ski areas in the state's Pocono region, it has 26 ski trails that include beginner slopes as well as some of the region's steepest skiing, and 26 trails for skiing. Snö Mountain also has two terrain park

s, including a 22-footer. It has a lodge with a patio and grill.
Originally called Montage Mountain Ski Area, the resort was developed by Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania
, using federal economic development funds. In 1979, the county bought the land from Pennsylvania Gas & Water Co. for $14 million. Construction began in January 1984 and was completed in time for the grand opening in December. It was renamed in 2006.
