. Its aim is to introduce and log the songs played at scout events and which are popular to the youth nowadays—not only folk and country, but also rock-styled songs and other music styles. Soaré offers the possibility for beginner-musicians to present themselves in public and offers a place for musical activities development in scouting, motivates many musicians and authors.

History

Soaré comes from the French word soirée – "meeting, session". The first Soaré took place in 1998. During the next years the small Soaré became one of the most popular events between scouts and other festivals' visitors.
